Welcome to our recreational classes!

Recreational classes start from the age of four and they must be in reception at school and go up to the age of 18. When gymnasts reach 18, we then offer our adult classes who have the opportunity to compete.

During our recreational classes’ gymnasts get to experience three different apparatus per week and then alternate. We also complete proficiency badges twice a year where gymnasts work towards different skills and receive a certificate and badge at a presentation. We also give the opportunity for gymnasts to compete in our in-house recreational competitions which are twice a year.

Along with this we have themed camps for Easter, Summer, Halloween and lots of fun activities at Christmas.

We pride ourselves on running a friendly, fun and safe experience for all gymnasts.

At Birches Valley, we run multiple classes throughout the weekdays and Saturdays, please see our class timetable to see which days and times would be suitable.

Please Note:

We do take boys through our beginner and intermediate classes, however if they are showing more potential, we would then advise you to contact a club who specialises in men’s artistic gymnastics and have the equipment and coaches to take them further.
